Amal can speak three languages fluently! She can speak French, Arabic, and of course English. This is probably a huge benefit to their relationship and George’s career as he is always doing work overseas.

She’s been named to several United Nations commissions. She’s listed WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange as a client and acts as an advisor to U.N. Security General Kofi Annan on relations in Syria. We would just like to say that that’s pretty bad a**!
3. The Future Mrs. Clooney Is Just As Brainy As She Is Beautiful:
Amal got her English law degree at world-renowned Oxford University, then continued her education at the NYU School of Law.
4. Amal Has Friends In Supremely High Places:
She spent a semester as a clerk for Sonia Sotomayor who is now a Supreme Court justice! Amal was later named to the litigation department of Sullivan & Cromwell in NYC and practiced both domestic and international law for three years.
5. Amal Has Just So Many Fans:

Amal Alamuddin (Arabic: أمل علم الدين‎) is a London-based, British-Lebanese lawyer, activist and author. Training
Amal regularly devises and delivers training to judges, state officials and UN investigators on international criminal law and human rights. She has also conducted training for police forces in the Gulf region.
Seminars and Publications
Amal is the co- editor (with David Tolbert and Nidal Jurdi) of a book entitled The Law and Practice of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, to be published in 2013 by Oxford University Press. She is also the author of several book-chapters and articles on international criminal law published by Oxford University Press.

Amal has lectured students on international criminal law at SOAS (University of London), The New School in New York, The Hague Academy of International Law, and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She also regularly speaks at conferences and seminars.
