Soldier Field October 20-21

Teens and parents are invited to participate in a free defensive driving program sponsored by Toyota at Soldier Field on Saturday and Sunday. The 2 1/2-hour program is aimed at teens who recently received licenses or permits to help them deal with common road hazards and distractions, such as texting. A parent or guardian must attend to register for Toyota Driving Expectations, which is being offered in Chicago for the first time.

Professional supervisors will sit next to teen drivers as they whip around traffic cones, slam brakes and perform other maneuvers in Soldier Field’s parking lot.

COST: Free

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, October 20 and 21
Class start times: 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m.
Each session lasts 2 1/2 hours
